Eligible Criteria for WBSSC Combined Graduate Level Recruitment 2014

A. INSPECTOR BACKWARD CLASSES WELFARE
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have possess a degree of a recognized University or its and Must have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali
B. MINORITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have possess a degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. and must have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali.
C. RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have possess A Bachelor’s Degree with Anthropology or Economics and Sociology and At least two years experience on Socio-economic investigation surveys and analysis of data in an Organization or Institute of repute.
Desirable: Good Working knowledge of a Tribal Language.
D. FISHERY EXTENSION OFFICER:
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have A 4-years Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University and Knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic resources and Fishing Harbours in West Bengal and Must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali.
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 year to 32 years as on 1st January 2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. rules. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for OBC-A and OBC-B candidates of West Bengal, upto 37 years of age for Persons with Disabilities (having physical disability of at least 40% and above).
Scheme of Examination: Detailed scheme of examination will be decided by the Commission depending on the number of applications received for each post and same will be published in Commission’s website in the month of February, 2015.
Application & Examination Fees: All categories of candidates except SC/ST/PWD shall pay Examination fees of Rs.200/- and Processing fees of Rs.20/- (Total amount Rs.220/-). Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD shall pay Processing fees of Rs.20/- only as they are exempted from paying any Examination fees through payment gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net Banking of any bank. An amount of Rs.5/- only will be charged by the concerned agency as “Service Charge” for availing Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking facility.
