Staff Selection commission invites online application for the post of Sub- Inspector in Delhi Police & (CAPF) Central Armed Police Forces & Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF.
1) Sub Inspector in CAPFs – 1706 Posts
Pay Scale – Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
2) Sub Inspector (Executive-Male) in Delhi Police- 95 Posts
Pay Scale – Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
3) Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF – 1101 Posts
Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university or equivalent.
Application Fee – Rs.100/-
Age Limit – for Sub Inspector & Assistant Sub Inspector -20 to 25 years
Scheme of Examination
Paper –I
(Date & time of exam –21-06-2015, 10.00AM to 12.00PM)
1) General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 marks (each Question 1 marks)
2) General Knowledge & Awareness – 50 marks (each Question 1 marks)
3) Quantitative Aptitude – 50 marks (each Question 1 marks)
4) English Comprehension – 50 marks (each Question 1 marks)
Paper- II
(Date & time of Examination – 21-06-2015, 2.00PM to 4.00PM)
1) English Language & Comprehension – 200 Marks (each Question 1 marks)
Note – the Questions will be Objective Multiple Choice type. Questions set will be in Hindi & English in Parts A, B & C of Paper I.

Height & Chest
1) For Male Candidate – 170cms, Unexpanded – 80 & Expanded – 85
2) For Candidates from Hill Areas – 165cms, Unexpanded – 80 & Expanded – 85
3) For ST candidate – 162.5cms, Unexpanded – 77 & Expanded – 82
4) For Female – 157cms
5) For Candidates belonging to Hill areas – 155cms.
6) for All candidates belonging to ST – 154cms.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For male candidates only
- a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds
- b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- c) Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- d) High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
For female candidates only
- a) 100 meters race in 18 seconds
- b) 800 meters race in 4 minutes
- c) Long Jump: 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 chances.
- d) High Jump : 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 chances.
