Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment

Educational Qualification	Age Limit
Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with 60% in aggregate.	18 – 22 years born between 01.02.1997 to 31.01.2001
Relaxation (in Upper age limit) : 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC.

Medical Standards


Height	Minimum height 157 cms.
Chest	Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
Weight	Proportionate to height and age +10% acceptable.
Hearing	Normal
Visual Standards	6/ 24 without glasses and 6/ 9 & 6/ 12 with glasses for Better Eye and Worse Eye respectively.

Physical Fitness Test


(i) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes. (ii) 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak). (iii) 10 Push ups.
